Here's some speculation as to what would happen to the other cast members of Ranma 1/2 if Akane and Ranma were ever able to give in to their obvious love for each other. Because we're all wondering, if Ranma and Akane got married, what would happen to...

2) Ryoga and Ukyo?
Heartbroken, they would sit and sulk and contemplate suicide in her restaurant. Then, after spending so much time together plotting revenge, they would fall in love and Ukyo would direct Ryoga to Las Vegas where they would elope. After moving back to Japan, they would have five directionally challenged children who wear bandanas and make okinomiyaki.
 
 

3) Nabiki and Kuno? 
Nabiki, while attempting not to laugh at him, would try to placate Kuno, who is trying to impale himself with his sword. Eventually, Kuno would open his eyes and realize: "Hey, Nabiki's really hot. Hmmm. Both of her sisters are taken, and the pigtailed girl has mysteriously disappeared, so..." They would begin a noncommital relationship and move into a loft apartment in downtown Tokyo together, and Nabiki would help Kuno get over his stone-age views on life and love.
 

6) Kodaichi? 
Kodaichi would stalk Ranma until Akane beat the living s*** out of her and had her placed under a restraining order.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

7) Shampoo, our favorite Chinese Amazon?
She would be banished from China for failing to either marry or kill Ranma. Forced to spend the rest of her life in exile in Japan, she wouldopen up a chain of "Cat Cafes" and remain single, occaisionally dating a nice Japanese martial artist.
 

8) Mousse?
Every so often, Shampoo and Mousse would go out to dinner until Mousse got them kicked out of the restaurant for beating up the guys who are checking out his date.

9) Shampoo?
Eventually Shampoo would fall for a supposedly nice guy and have a super-strong daughter. Then, they would divorce because he tried to be abusive but it just wasn't working. So Shampoo would become a successful single working mother.
10) Cologne?
In her old age, she has become a babbling great-great-grandmother, and rather than put her in a nursing home, Shampoo would keep her in her house so she could baby-sit.
11) Akane?
Akane will forever remain oblivious to the fact that P-chan is really Ryoga, and would die thinking her pet had been left as roadkill on the highway.
 
 

12) Kodaichi?
Kodaichi would finally end up in an insane asylum for breaking her restraining order and paralyzing Ranma with some black roses. She would spend the rest of her days jumping around a padded room in a straightjacket claiming to be a chocolate chip cookie.
